Shenango River Watchers is a 501(c)(3) non-profit watershed group formed to restore and protect the environmental, scenic, and recreational attributes of the Shenango River Watershed.
During the last 15 years, we have removed more than 1.5 million pounds of illegally dumped trash and recycled over 50,000 tires. We have provided nearly 1,800 elementary students with outdoor hands-on environmental education. We also conduct on-going river and aquatic life research and provide college scholarships for students who have demonstrated interest in our environment. We have increased river recreational opportunities including Paddle Fest, which attracts participants from all over the region and several different states!
Your purchase both encourages us and helps us to implement our educational, recreational, research and recycling programs and projects.
